Susan Mondoux-Parr
September 29, 2016

Susan Lynn (nee Mondoux) Parr passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29th at Innisfree House, her wonderful sense of humour and sharp wit intact to the end. She was 50 years old.

Susan is survived by the love of her life, her husband Steve; by her beloved daughters Morgan and Lauren; and by her parents Olga and Rich Mondoux. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Sally Parr of Elliott Lake, by her aunt and uncle Carmel and Bernie Gueldenstubbe of Peterborough, by her nieces Pam and Beth, and by her cousins Patti and Michael. Fondly remembered by her “god brother” Jay Crocker and family.
Sue developed friendships easily and valued them greatly; she will be deeply missed by all those who were a part of her life. She shared many laughs and much wine with her closest girlfriends, particularly at Lake Christine; they have been at her side constantly in her last months. She loved acting and amateur theatre, and performed with the Elmira Theatre Company for many years. More recently, she spent many enjoyable hours with the boating community at Grand Bend.

Susan received wonderful treatment at Grand River Hospital, at Freeport Hospital, and especially at Innisfree House in Kitchener, whose staff and volunteers were so kind to her and to all of her family.
Cremation has taken place. Susan’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519) 749-8467. The celebration of Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 12-3 p.m. at the Waterloo Police Association Banquet, 1128 Rife Rd, Cambridge, ON N1R 5S3. Cremation has taken place.
