Eldon Dahmer
July 4, 1891 – July 21, 1980

Passed away at his residence, 45 Caroline St. N., Waterloo, on Monday, July 21, 1980, Eldon H. Dahmer, aged 89 years.

Born in Conestogo, he had been employed at B.F. Goodrich Canada Ltd. for many years, until retiring and later at CKCO Television. A member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Waterloo. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Dahmer.

Surviving is his wife, the former Perseda Ritter; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Goldsworthy of Waterloo, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Bald of Kitchener; one brother, Norman of Kitchener; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers and one sister.

Mr. Dahmer’s family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 2 p.m. in Tuesday, until Wednesday noon. Following a private family committal service at Parkview cemetery, a public memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Waterloo, Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m., Rev. A. L. Conrad will officiate.

Expressions of sympathy may be shown by contributions to the Organ Fund of St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart Foundation.
