Cecil Linton

At his residence, 3 State Court, Waterloo after a lengthy illness. Cecil Gilbert Linton in his 64th year.

A member of the Waterloo Legion, Branch 530 and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He retired from the Waterloo county board of education in 1979.

Son of former Ann Turcotte of Penbroke and the late Charles Eddie Linton; beloved husband of Etha McLaren; dear father of Eddie of Gads Hill, Peter of Moncton, N.B., Evan (Mrs. Brenda Woods) of Route 1, Elmira, William (Mrs. Karen Martin) of Kitchener and James (Mrs. Valerie Smith) of Guelph; brother of Charles of Owen Sound and Robert of Pembroke; 13 grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harvey and John.

Friends called at the Ratz-Bechtal Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener. Funeral and commitatal service was in the chapel, Saturday. Interment Parkview cemetery, Waterloo.
