Tony Chir
March 30, 1952 – June 19, 2019

Anthony Joseph (Tony) Chir passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 surrounded by the love and presence of his family. Tony was a great husband and best friend to Marilyn and loving father to Erin and Caleb (Sarah). Tony was a loving grandfather and father figure to Elizabeth, and a doting grandfather to Taksh.

Tony touched many lives in his 67 years and we would like to thank the many friends and family that surrounded him with their love and support over this past year. The family wants to express their gratitude to Dr. Scher, the nurses and all the staff at the Douglas Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate and dedicated care of Tony.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tony’s name to Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fort Erie Conservation Club 255 Ott Rd., Stevensville Ontario on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.
