Leonard (Larry) Knoke, passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 76, supported by family and friends. Predeceased by his much loved wife, Margery (Blakeney) Knoke, to whom he was hopelessly devoted. Survived by son, Mark of Halifax; sibilings Eleonore MacPherson of Airdire, Alberta, Walter of Esquimalt, BC, Helen Dawson and Dolores Jones of Prince Alet, Saskatchewan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Ben and Emma Knoke, Relindis (Lindy) Dodge, Alphonse, Herman, and David. Veteran of World War 2, he served overseas with the 48th Highlanders. Larry was lovingly cared for by his nieces Faye Klassen of Saskatoon, Mary-Jane Rogers of Waterloo; and wonderful friends, Lydia Myers, Martha Brown, and Denise Julien. Memorial Service to be held Tuesday, December 5, 2000, at 1pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel (852- 3530), 1177 Salisbury Rd., Moncton, with a reception to follow in the family reception area of the funeral home. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice.
