Daniel Alexander Sutherland on Thursday, December 31, 1992 at St. Mary’s Hospital in his 72nd year.

Dan was a veteran of the Second World War and served overseas from 1939 to 1945. He retired from CKCO Television in 1988 after 12 years of service.

Beloved husband of Myrtle, loving father and father-in-law of Dianne Storozuk and her husband Gerald of Kitchener, Blanche Ferguson and her husband John of Guelph, and Victoria Muter and her husband Lawrence of Kitchener. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Michael Storozuk of British Columbia, Jason and Cory Schaefer of Guelph, and Jamie and Christopher Muter of Kitchener. Dear brother of Margaret, Chris, Hattie and Louise of Nova Scotia.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Katie Sutherland and one brother Neil.

Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton at Church St. Kitchener, from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 1993 followed by complete funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. Father Joe Durkacz officiating. Cremation to follow.

As expression of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society, 41 River Road E., Unit 4, Kitchener, N2B 2G3 would be appreciated by the family.
