Western Ontario Drama League

The Western Ontario Drama League is a regional theatre organization. It was established in 1932 to unite and support community theatre groups in Western Ontario. W.O.D.L. organizes an annual theatre festival, provides education in theatre arts, and encourages, assists, and promotes community theatre.

In the 1960’s and 1970’s CKCO-TV sponsored a yearly $25 reward and the winner’s name on a trophy for the person deemed as the best juvenile actor. The station televised the awards program on more than one occasion
