Alexander (San) Lindsay
May 27, 1938 – December 6, 2001

Passed away, suddenly, at his home in Kitchener, on Thursday, December 6, 2001.

Born on May 27, 1938, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Finch) Lindsay.

Loving husband and friend of Anne (nee Dwyer) for 42 years. Lovingly remembered by his children, Tammy and her husband Ken Schneider of Kitchener and Sean Lindsay and his wife Margaret Wood of Waterloo and his grandsons, Kevin and Cameron Schneider; dear brother of James Lindsay and his wife Helen and Margaret Mason, all of Nova Scotia. He will be missed by all of his family and friends across Canada.

Alex had worked for the city of Kitchener in the Public Works Department for 27 years until his retirement in 1995.

Relatives and friends may call at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Sunday, December 9, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where parish prayers will be recited at 2 p.m. Prayers will be offered from the funeral home on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at St. Anthony Daniel Church at 9:30 a.m. Father Earl Talbot officiating. Private family interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception will follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations my be made to St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation, Cardiac Care Unit.
